A comprehensive look at the shot choices in Se7en, very well done. Are the titles written onto flesh or objects in the setting? You've looked at the mise-en-scene very closely and yet not discussed the symbolism in the titles. As you have to construct your own titles I want to look at these models very closely first, please add this in. You have also not researched the audience or the impact of the studio and stars involved on the audience. Again, this is important for you as a springboard for understanding the potential market for your own creation. An A student, which I hope you will be, needs to produce work that is consistent across all areas. Level 3 Research
An interesting choice for your second research piece. Hitchcock's style is not only from another era and limited to the technologies of the time, it is a style of his own creation and has become iconic, with many modern films paying homage. The titles are very limited because of the technology available and would have been created through matte photography, certainly not CGI. If you intend to draw on Hitchcock's style, it would be appropriate to research the key features of this, if not please discuss with me why you chose this film as a model for your own work.
